First Baptist Church Scholarship and Application
- Two Scholarships will be awarded by the First Baptist Church Scholarship Committee. This scholarship will be awarded to two seniors who are planning on attending a post -secondary education facility: Vo-tech, Junior College, Beauty College, or four year College or University.
- Confirmation from the school you will be attending and a receipt from the registrar is needed when you pick up your awarded funds later this coming fall.
- In order to expedite this process, be sure you have a copy of your High School transcript sent to us before submitting your application. Send to: First Baptist Church, P.O.Box 408, Herington, KS 67449 or hand carry to 201 E. Hawley, Herington, KS 67449. High grades are not a requirement; we are looking for well-rounded students who are interested in furthering their education.
- All applications and supporting documents will be retained by the committee. Announcement of the scholarship recipients will be made on Senior Class Night.
- Last day to submit applications is May 5th.
